Meet Dr. Jana Bone, DVM

Dr. Bone has had the aspiration of becoming a veterinarian since the young age of 9 years and never deterred. By the age of 16, she was writing a business plan in her entrepreneurial class in high school for a small animal hospital. She attended Oklahoma State University for her bachelor’s in Animal Science along with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bone is a Kansas transplant after veterinary school and a year spent in the Kansas City area completing a year of advanced studies.

She has been in the Tulsa area since 2011, and is grounded in the roots she has set. Dr. Bone has the passion to keep your family’s fur kids healthy so the bond can be maintained as long as possible. She has a particular interest in preventative care, dentistry, and ophthalmology. She is looking forward to meeting all of your pets.

Meet Taylor, Registered Veterinary Technician

Taylor is the primary Technician for Dr. Bone. She is a local to Tulsa County and grew up just west of town in Sand Springs where she graduated from Charles Page High School. Her love for veterinary medicine began after working as a kennel technician and later being promoted to a veterinary assistant at a large well-established animal hospital. In the summer of 2012, she traveled to New Zealand and Australia to study wildlife, biological systems, culture, and agricultural production. Taylor completed her education at Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Biotechnology in 2013. She is also a graduate of TCC’s Veterinary Technology Program and completed her preceptorship at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in the summer of 2016.

Taylor has a Papillon named Pippi and a French bulldog named Jagger that she loves to take kayaking. She also enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family.

Meet Bailey

Hi! I am Bailey and have been involved in some aspects of veterinary medicine since the age of 9. I have worked my way through the veterinary team to a position I love and know is my calling. I have compassion for all animals but enjoy working with the pets that need the most empathy and care. I have a herd of mis-fits that I love dearly! Ellee a 7 year old Aussie mix, Grady a 4 year old Heinz 57 dog, Hazel an aging gracefully (16 years) shih Tzu and two precious cats: Harvey, who is the queen of her world, and the cutest Siamese named Jinx. To close out my crew I have two rats named after my favorite Harry Potter characters. What free moments I have are spent with family, friends, and often a glass of wine!

Meet Chandra, Customer Service Representative

Chandra came to us from the small town of Ada, Oklahoma. She lived in Ada most of her life and graduated from Byng High School. She has worked in the veterinary medical field for a number of years. Prior to moving from Ada, she held the position of Client Care Manager in a well-established small animal hospital and loved being able to make a difference in both her client’s and patients’ lives.

Chandra moved to Tulsa in Sept of 2020 and has fallen in love with the city. So in January of 2021 she and her boyfriend purchased a home in Owasso deciding to make this their “new” permanent home. She loves helping others and is always excited to be in the clinic to help make and keep your fur babies healthy. She has one fur baby of her own, his name is Canis and he is a 10-year-old terrier mix who she rescued when he was approximately 6 weeks of age. Chandra enjoys home decorating, cooking, and spending all of her free time with her boyfriend, Guy.

Meet Paige, Customer Service Representative

Hi! My name is Paige! I have always had a love for all types of animals ever since I was a little girl, so working in the vet world as an adult seemed very fitting! I went to Vet Assisting school and have been in the field for over ten years! Anyone that knows me is aware that I have trouble keeping my mouth shut and love talking to people a little too much! Meet Bobby, Pet Care Specialist

Hey! My name is Bobby, I am a pet care assistant here at Skyline Animal Hospital. My passion for animal has literally been my whole life, thanks to my older sisters! I will be graduating from high school this year and will transition to Tulsa Community College as I begin to figure out my next steps. I have a thirteen-year-old blind and deaf Shih Tzu named Hazel Grace who is my whole heart and soul!

Meet Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday is the official door greeter and butt sniffer here at the Skyline Animal Hospital. She takes her job description seriously and is very persistent! Ruby is Dr. Bone’s furkid and can be found most days begging for a treat or sleeping somewhere in the hospital. Her start to life was very traumatic but she has adjusted well. Ruby was brought to the hospital in January 2017 after having been thrown from a truck into a culvert. She had a broken leg and severe lung trauma when she arrived at the hospital. Her recovery was uneventful and has become a great companion for Dr. Bone. This brown dog is worth her weight in gold.
