APPOINTMENT POLICY

We encourage all pet owners to call ahead to schedule set appointments. This allows sufficient time for all patients to be seen along with scheduling of the daily surgical procedures. Emergency cases will be seen based on priority. Please expect delays on the occasion an emergency is being triaged at the time of your appointment.

PATIENT ARRIVAL POLICY

Upon entering the hospital, we request that all dogs be on a leash, in a travel carrier, or properly controlled for your pet’s protection as well as the safety of other pets within the hospital. All cats must be in an appropriate carrier or on a leash.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment is required at the time services are rendered. For your convenience we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Debit, CareCredit and Trupanion Insurance directly.

We try to provide treatment plans (estimates) for all patients. If a treatment plan has not been provided, please ask. It is important for our team to be aware of any financial limitations upfront. Our team has resources available to ensure your pet is comfortable and cared for, no matter the situation.

  • All Pet Card: What is All Pet Card? All Pet Card is a credit card that provides financial coverage exclusively to your pet’s veterinary care. This care can be routine or emergent, boarding, daycare, dental cleaning, pet food and all in hospital prescriptions.

  • Pet Insurance: What is Pet Insurance? Pet Insurance is a plan that can help protect your pets’ health. There are several options for owners to consider when making this choice. Once you (the pet owner) have decided on the coverage of a monthly premium and a deductible level, the invoices and records will be provided to you for reimbursement. Trupanion is the company at this time that will make direct payments to the hospital on your behalf once a claim has been approved.

RETURN POLICY

Products leaving the hospital cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturer guarantee. Manufacturer guarantee is limited to the following products: Hills Diets, Veterinary Recommended Solutions, and Virbac Dental Care and Joint Chews.

Prescription products are not accepted as returns, disposal only.

PRESCRIPTION POLICY

Prescription refill requests can be made online or over the phone. Please allow a minimum of 24 business hours for pickup. If this is a special order this can take 3-5 days depending on when the order will be placed.

Skyline Animal Hospital only supports communication with our online pharmacy. Every client will get registered and can request medication ordering/refills from this site.

Outside/online pharmacies requests can take 3-5 days due to the time of the request. These requests are supported by completing the Online Pharmacy Prescription Waiver, picking up the hard copy of the prescription, and submitting the prescription based on the companies’ guidelines. No formal contact will be made between Skyline Animal Hospital to the requested pharmacy.
