Meet Dr. Jana Bone, DVM

Dr. Bone has had the aspiration of becoming a veterinarian since the young age of 9 years and never deterred. By the age of 16, she was writing a business plan in her entrepreneurial class in high school for a small animal hospital. She attended Oklahoma State University for her bachelor’s in Animal Science along with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bone is a Kansas transplant after veterinary school and a year spent in the Kansas City area completing a year of advanced studies.

She has been in the Tulsa area since 2011, and is grounded in the roots she has set. Dr. Bone has the passion to keep your family’s fur kids healthy so the bond can be maintained as long as possible. She has a particular interest in preventative care, dentistry, and ophthalmology. She is looking forward to meeting all of your pets.

Meet Taylor, Registered Veterinary Technician

Taylor is the lead Technician for Dr. Bone and a proud Tulsa County native. Raised in Sand Springs, she graduated from Charles Page High School before discovering her passion for veterinary medicine. What began as a kennel technician position soon grew into a lifelong calling as she advanced to a veterinary assistant at a large, well-established animal hospital.

Her curiosity and love for animals took her abroad in the summer of 2012, when she traveled to New Zealand and Australia to study wildlife, biological systems, culture, and agricultural production. Taylor went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Biotechnology from Oklahoma State University in 2013, followed by a Veterinary Technology degree from Tulsa Community College. She completed her preceptorship at OSU in Stillwater during the summer of 2016.

Today, Taylor combines her scientific knowledge with a compassionate touch to provide exceptional care to every patient. When she’s not in the clinic, she enjoys kayaking with her Papillon, Pippi and French Bulldog, Tucker, along with exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Meet Bailey, Veterinary Technician

Bailey has been passionate about veterinary medicine since childhood — her journey began at just nine years old! Over the years, she’s worked her way through various roles within the veterinary field, ultimately finding her calling in hands-on patient care. Her dedication shines brightest when working with pets who need extra compassion and empathy.

At home, Bailey’s heart belongs to her “herd of misfits”: Ellee, a spirited 7-year-old Aussie mix; Grady, her lovable 4-year-old Heinz 57; and Phoebe, a sweet Maltese that was rescued to live out her final years with grace. She also shares her home with two charming cats — Brutus, a man of mischievous ways and Jinx, an adorable Siamese.

When she’s not caring for patients or her own furry (and whiskered) crew, Bailey enjoys spending time with family and friends — often with a well-deserved glass of wine in hand.

Meet Chandra, Customer Service Representative

Chandra came to us from the small town of Ada, Oklahoma. She lived in Ada most of her life and graduated from Byng High School. She has worked in the veterinary medical field for a number of years. Prior to moving from Ada, she held the position of Client Care Manager in a well-established small animal hospital and loved being able to make a difference in both her client’s and patients’ lives.

Chandra moved to Tulsa in Sept of 2020 and has fallen in love with the city. So in January of 2021 she and her partner purchased a home in Owasso deciding to make this their “new” permanent home. She loves helping others and is always excited to be in the clinic to help make and keep your fur babies healthy. She has one fur baby of her own, his name is Canis and he is a 14-year-old terrier mix who she rescued when he was approximately 6 weeks of age. Chandra enjoys home decorating, cooking, and spending all of her free time with her partner, Guy.

Meet Michelle, Customer Service Representative

Michelle is a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for client care and strengthening the bond between pets and their families. Growing up, she participated in both 4-H and FFA, developing a strong foundation in animal care and responsibility from an early age. Over the years, she has dedicated herself to supporting animals and their owners through pet therapy visits, fostering kittens, and sharing her knowledge with fellow pet enthusiasts.

Michelle is a proud pet parent to two dachshunds and a chihuahua, who keep her busy and constantly remind her of the joy pets bring to everyday life. She believes wholeheartedly that pets enrich their families’ lives in countless ways and is thrilled to be part of the Skyline team, where she can continue helping both pets and their people feel cared for and supported.

Meet Jordan, Veterinary Assistant

Jordan is a Veterinary Assistant at Skyline and a dedicated member of the team. With over five years of experience in the veterinary field, Jordan has developed a deep passion for patient care and strives to make every visit a positive, comfortable experience for both pets and their families.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with their cat, Bean — a sweet and spirited -four-year-old who never fails to brighten the day.

Meet Paityn, Veterinary Assistant

Paityn moved to Tulsa from Knoxville, Tennessee, after earning her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science Management from the University of Tennessee. Before joining Skyline Animal Hospital, she worked as a zookeeper specializing in large carnivores and primates, even helping raise nearly a dozen big cats across three facilities.

Though she’s cared for everything from jaguars to elephants, Paityn has loved transitioning into veterinary medicine and being part of Skyline’s compassionate team. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, reading, traveling, and teaching yoga—but most of all, spending time with her boyfriend, Corey, their dog, Winnie, and their cats, Napoleon and Machiavelli.

Paityn is excited to provide gold-standard care to pets of every size and personality.

Meet Bobby, Pet Care Assistant

Hey! My name is Bobby, I am a pet care assistant here at Skyline Animal Hospital. My passion for animal has literally been my whole life, thanks to my older sisters! I will be graduating from high school this year and will transition to Tulsa Community College as I begin to figure out my next steps. I have a thirteen-year-old blind and deaf Shih Tzu named Hazel Grace who is my whole heart and soul!

Meet El, Pet Care Assistant

El has been working with animals for several years and discovered early on that veterinary medicine was her true passion. Her love for animals began at just five years old, when she welcomed her very first puppy, Bones the bulldog, into her life. That early bond sparked a lifelong desire to care for animals and make a difference in their lives.

Today, El enjoys every opportunity to work with patients of all kinds — whether furry, feathered, or scaled. At home, she shares her life with a lively crew that includes a corgi named Nova, a leopard gecko named Salem, and two cats, Gizmo and Ace.

El aspires to expand her knowledge as she continues to grow in her veterinary career. Her dedication, curiosity, and genuine compassion make her a valued part of the team and a wonderful advocate for every pet in her care.

Meet Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday is the official door greeter and butt sniffer here at the Skyline Animal Hospital. She takes her job description seriously and is very persistent! Ruby is Dr. Bone’s furkid and can be found most days begging for a treat or sleeping somewhere in the hospital. Her start to life was very traumatic but she has adjusted well. Ruby was brought to the hospital in January 2017 after having been thrown from a truck into a culvert. She had a broken leg and severe lung trauma when she arrived at the hospital. Her recovery was uneventful and has become a great companion for Dr. Bone. This brown dog is worth her weight in gold.
